Goods are hired to customers on the understanding that they shall be returned to Affleck and Moffat in an undamaged condition and the hirer undertakes to be fully responsible for them at their current value until they are received from our shop.

Customers are advised to check immediately after collecting the hired goods that they are complete and the correct sizes, we advise all customers to try their suits on upon collection in case of any needed changes. We will not be liable for any loss suffered by the customer which could have been avoided by complying with the above advise. We will not be liable for loss of profit and any lost items must be paid for and are charged at their current value.

A £5 charge will be made for any lost suit bags.

The Accidental Damage waiver insurance does not cover against loss of items, theft of items or malicious damage. All items not returned will be charged for.

A none refundable deposit will be taken when hiring goods and comes off the final balance. A security bond in the form of credit card imprint or cash deposit for £100 is required on all single hire dinner and lounge suits.

All hired goods must be paid for in full before they leave the premises.

Any cancellation by the customer of a suit hire made within 14 days prior to collection date will be charged at the full amount of the grand total.
